Ash of the Depths is a dark sci-fi action-adventure shooter where players descend through dangerous subterranean environments filled with collapsing rock, flowing liquids, and volatile gases. Set across multiple biomes like flooded tunnels and toxic marshes, the game challenges you to navigate hazards and survive encounters with diverse enemies and bosses. Using a variety of weapons and tools, including a plasma cutter that can carve new paths, you explore 100 levels divided into chapters with branching endings. The physics-driven world reacts realistically to your actions, adding strategic depth to movement and combat. Along the way, you can upgrade gear and uncover hidden caches while managing resources carefully to stay alive in this atmospheric 2D shooter. How to Play

Goal: descend as deep as you can, reach the exit of each level and survive the bosses.

Phone: left stick — move and jump, right stick — aim and fire (auto-aim is on by default). Buttons on the right: grenade, cutter, weapon swap.
PC: A/D — move, W — jump, Space — jetpack, mouse — aim and fire, right mouse button — grenade, 1–4 — weapons, F — cutter, Esc — pause.

The level goal and the “rift hungers” counter are in the top-right corner; the arrow at the screen edge points to the goal. Spend gold in the Arsenal (pause → Arsenal, or after a level). The cutter slices any rock but barely hurts enemies.
